AFGlobal facilities receive certification for aerospace

AFGlobal Corporation reported that its Steel Industries facilities in Michigan received AS9100 Rev C certification from the PRI Registrar for demonstrating its ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements of the aerospace industry specifications. This achievement positions AFGlobal for growth in the aerospace industry, and boosts the Company’s number of certified facilities to eight. The latest certification covers forging, machining, assembling, heat treatment and testing processes. Along with its NADCAP certification for heat treatment, AS9100 certification gives the Company a solid foundation for meeting the stringent requirements of the aerospace sector.
