Finnair has entered into a memorandum of understanding with GECAS, on the sale and leaseback of two Airbus A350 aircraft. GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, reported delivery of a leased Airbus A320 to low-cost carrier VivaColombia. VivaColombia has a fleet of nine Airbus A320s, including this aircraft, operating on 20 domestic routes within Colombia and six international routes to Panamá, Quito, Lima and Miami.
BeauTech Power Systems, has acquired an Embraer E-190 aircraft, powered by CF34-10E engines, from Boeing Capital Corporation. The ten year old aircraft was previously operated by Air Canada. Boeing reported that China Southern Airlines has announced a commitment to purchase 80 737s. The commitment includes a combination of 30 Next-Generation 737s and 50 737 MAX airplanes, valued at US$8.38 billion at current list prices.
