Doric has structured investments in four regional aircraft for two family offices. Doric took delivery of the ATR72-500s in Finland at the end of March 2015. Avolon, the international aircraft leasing company, delivered a new A321 aircraft to Philippine Airlines (PAL). The delivery is Avolon’s sixth aircraft on lease to PAL, comprising five A320 family aircraft and one A330 aircraft.
On December 30th, 2014, Finnair signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Doric Asset Finance GmbH for the sale and leaseback of six ATR72 aircraft. The transaction has now been concluded. The value of the transaction was approximately €80m and it has a positive impact of approximately €30m on Finnair operating profit in 2015. The
