Cabot Aviation reported the sale of two Saab 340A aircraft to Transportes Aereos Guatemaltecos (TAG) of Guatemala. The aircraft are serial numbers 116 and 117 and Cabot Aviation acted as remarketing agent on behalf of the seller, Romstrade Logistic Expres (Blue Air) of Bucharest, Romania.
GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has signed a purchase and leaseback transaction with Spirit Airlines for six new Airbus A320 aircraft to expand the carrier’s fleet. GECAS delivered the first aircraft to Spirit in March. The remainder deliver in 2013 with all six aircraft coming from Spirit’s existing order book with Airbus.
AgustaWestland reported the delivery of the first AW101 VVIP helicopter to Turkmenistan Airlines.
