CIT Group Inc.,  a global leader in transportation finance, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for 50 A320neo Family aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2016. The 32 Airbus aircraft that CIT ordered in June, 2007 are all scheduled for delivery by 2016. CIT  chose CFM International’s LEAP-X1A engine to power 15 Airbus A320neo family aircraft.
Boeing and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA signed an order for 15 Next-Generation 737-800 airplanes at the international 2011 Paris Air Show. CIRCOR Aerospace Products Group, a business unit of CIRCOR International, has been selected by Piper Aircraft Inc. to design and manufacture a fuel system motor-operated fuel component on the PiperJet Altaire single-engine business jet. MIAT Mongolian Airlines have announced an order for two Next-Generation 737-800 airplanes and one 767-300ER (extended range) airplane. The order, valued at $245 million at list prices, marks the first time in more than two decades that MIAT Mongolian Airlines will extend its route network by purchasing Boeing airplanes instead of leasing them.

Air Astana, the national carrier of Kazakhstan, has awarded a multi-year power-by-the-hour contract for its growing fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft to A J Walter Aviation. At the same time Air Astana has also extended its B757/767 PBH support agreement with AJW.
Pratt & Whitney will provide power for 5 firm Mitsubishi Regional Jet aircraft ordered by ANI Group Holdings as part of a contract announced at the Paris Air Show.
