Eurocopter de México (EMSA), has delivered a single-engine AS350 B3 helicopter to EMSEGURIDAD-Q, Quito’s Metropolitan Public Security and Civic Engagement Logistics Agency. Airstream International Group has arranged the sale of another ERJ-145 aircraft, this time to Air Taraba of Nigeria. The aircraft, previously operated by UK airline FlyBe, has been repainted by Airbourne Colours in Bournemouth and will be operating internal routes within Nigeria, linking Taraba state to major commercial centres in Nigeria.

Boeing delivered the first 747-8 Intercontinental VIP airplane to an undisclosed customer. The airplane, which was delivered with a minimal interior, will enter service in 2014 after its VIP interior is installed. The VIP version of the 747-8 Intercontinental provides a cabin with 4,786 ft² (444.6 m²). This 747-8 VIP will include Greenpoint Technologies’ Aeroloft,
Boeing confirmed that China Southern Airlines has agreed to buy 10 Boeing 777-300ERs, as the airline plans to expand its capacity to meet growing demand in Asia-Pacific and China. The agreement still requires Chinese Government approval.
GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) announced the delivery of three new Airbus A320 aircraft to Airphil Express in January and early February. All three aircraft are part of GECAS’ existing order book with Airbus. As of January 2012, Airphil Express operates a fleet of 19 aircraft to 30 destinations with further routes planned in 2012.
Doric Asset Finance announced the placement of two A319 aircraft with the Tunisian airline Syphax Airlines for a period of approximately five years. The lease agreements were signed on 17th January 2012. Doric acted as a Remarketing Agent for two German Funds from the Hamburg-based investment house Woelbern Invest.
AWAS has delivered a Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft to Skymark Airlines. This is the first of two scheduled 737-800s to be delivered to the expanding Japanese airline this quarter.
Silver Airways has accepted delivery of the third of six Saab 340Bplus aircraft to be added to its fleet by July 2012. Dublin based global aircraft lessor, AWAS, has agreed to acquire a portfolio of twelve aircraft from GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS). All twelve modern, passenger aircraft are already on-lease to successful airlines, with six of the airlines joining AWAS as new customers. Bank debt for the acquisition is provided through a $317m limited recourse
