Boeing and Oman Air announced an order for six Boeing 787-8s equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, at the Dubai Airshow. The airline completed an arrangement with Boeing and Kuwait-based leasing company ALAFCO to transfer existing orders for the six Dreamliners from ALAFCO to Oman Air.

Lufthansa and CFM International announced the selection of the CFM56-5B to power four new Airbus A320 aircraft in a firm engine order valued at approximately $60m at list price. The aircraft order was announced in September of this year and the airline will take delivery in 2012 and 2013.
Republic Airways Holdings has finalized its $2.0bn order for CFM International’s advanced LEAP-1A engines to power 20 Airbus A319neo and 60 Airbus A320neo aircraft. AgustaWestland and Bristow Group have signed a contract for six AW189 helicopters plus options for additional aircraft. The aircraft will be used to perform offshore transport missions. The contract marks a further expansion of the fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters operated by Bristow, which already has AW139s operating globally, and strengthens the already excellent relationship with AgustaWestland.
BOC Aviation has delivered the first of two new A320-200 aircraft to Air New Zealand. The Company first announced that it signed long-term leases with Air New Zealand for two aircraft early last year. The second aircraft is scheduled to be delivered in December.
GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS) delivered two new Airbus A320 aircraft to China Southern Airlines. The aircraft come from GECAS’ existing order book with Airbus and will assist with the airline’s growth.
