AerCap enters into purchase-leaseback arrangement with American Airlines to finance up to 35 Boeing 737-800NGs

GECAS delivers two additional Boeing 737-800s to Pegasus

GECAS delivered two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft leased to Pegasus Airlines under a purchase-and-leaseback transaction. The aircraft were delivered to Pegasus in May and June and supplement the four new B737-800 aircraft GECAS purchased and leased back to the airline in April.

Airbus delivers 800th A330

The 800th A330 has been delivered on July 13th at a ceremony in Toulouse. The aircraft is an A330-200 Freighter, received by Aircastle Advisor Ltd for operation by HNA Group. This is the third A330-200F for its fleet. To date, over 1,140 A330s have been ordered.

Thomas Cook leases six new Airbus A321-200s from ALC

Thomas Cook Airlines, based in the U.K., has signed long term lease agreements with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for six new Airbus A321-200s. These aircraft are from ALC’s order book from Airbus. Israir receives first ATR 72-500

The Israeli airline Israir has taken delivery of its first ATR 72-500, of a total order of two. The aircraft, equipped with PW 127M engines, is configured to transport 72 passengers. It will be used to enhance the airline’s domestic network, adding to its current fleet of three ATR 42-320 and two Airbus A320 aircraft.
