Cargolux reaches tentative agreement with Boeing

Cargolux has reached a tentative agreement with Boeing over contractual issues in respect of the delivery of the first two Boeing 747-8 Freighters initially scheduled for 19 and 21 September. Cargolux now will take delivery on October 12, pending an October 6-7 Cargolux board meeting.

United Continental Holdings reports August 2011 operational performance

United and Continental’s combined consolidated traffic in August 2011 decreased 2.7%  versus pro forma August 2010 results on a consolidated capacity decrease of 1.6%. The carriers’ combined consolidated load factor in August 2011 was down 0.9 points to 85.7% compared to the pro forma results from the same period last year.

SAS Group load factor drops 1.2 pts in August

SAS Group’s traffic increased by 0.8% during August 2011 and capacity (ASK) increased 2.4% vs same period in 2010. The passenger load factor decreased by 1.2 p.u. in August to 77%. SAS Group carried 2.2 million passengers in August, up 1.2%.
