Commercial Jet is modifying Aeronautical Engineers’ (AEI) 400th freighter conversion. The 11 pallet position B737-400SF (MSN 25105) was converted at Commercial Jet’s Miami, Florida facility and delivered to TNT Airways S.A., in mid-December of 2014. Commercial Jet provided all of the touch labor for the passenger-to-freighter conversion, performed heavy maintenance and painted the aircraft.

Parker Aerospace has been selected by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China’s AVIC Aircraft to supply the flight control actuation and hydraulic system for the new MA700 regional aircraft. Precision Aircraft Solutions has begun conversion of a Rolls-Royce-powered 757, MSN 25886, for Chinese cargo carrier SF Airlines. The conversion marks the 10th Precision conversion to join the SF air operation since 2009. Air China Technics is performing the conversion at Chengdu Aircraft Maintenance Base.
The Chilean low-cost carrier Sky Airline has awarded MTU Maintenance an exclusive total engine care maintenance contract covering their fleet of CFM56-5B engines. The contract has a duration of eight years. StandardAero signed an exclusive five year contract, with a five year renewal option on January 1st, 2015, to maintain, repair and overhaul West Altantic Cargo Airline’s PW126 engines, modules, components and parts. SR Technics and Germania Fluggesellschaft GmbH have entered into an exclusive long-term agreement for engine services. Valued at US$180m, the agreement is effective immediately. It covers engine services for Germania’s fleet of Airbus A319 and A321 as well as Boeing 737-700 planes. The engines involved are CFM56 series -5B and -7B produced by Snecma (Safran)
