CEPA, the Prague based Central European Private Aviation organisation, has appointed Mr. Jir

Jacques Desclaux has been named Chairman and CEO of PowerJet, replacing Jean-Paul Ebanga.

Jean-Paul Ebanga has assumed the role of president and chief executive officer of CFM International. Mr. Ebanga is replacing Eric Bachelet, who had served as CFM president and CEO since September 2005. Mr. Bachelet has accepted the position of Safran executive vice president of Research and Technology.

Universal Asset Management appoints Laura Smith as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Smith is based at UAM

London Oxford Airport announced the appointment of Chris Orphanou as Managing Director. Chris commences his new strategic role effective 7th February, reporting to the Board of Oxford Aviation Services Ltd.

GA Telesis has appointed Irvin Lucas as Vice President of Turbine Engine Programs. Irvin will work alongside Alex Tuttle, Vice President of the Turbine Engine Group Sales, and will be responsible for all current engine contracts as well as further development of the engine supply chain programs for GA Telesis.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co., appointed Jerry Redondo as Aerospace Group Vice President of Operations and Global Sourcing. In this capacity, Redondo is responsible for operations and strategic sourcing for the Aerospace Group sites located in Burbank, California; Elyria, Ohio; Lynnwood, Washington and Lyon, France.

International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) will open a regional office in Amsterdam later this year. The new office will be managed by Colin Bole, who has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Head of ILFC Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Lufthansa has appointed Christian Altmann as the new general manager for Lufthansa in Singapore, succeeding Claudia Huegel. Mr Altmann will be responsible for Lufthansa’s sales and marketing activities in Singapore, South-east Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
