Boeing and Oman Air announced an order for six Boeing 787-8s equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, at the Dubai Airshow. The airline completed an arrangement with Boeing and Kuwait-based leasing company ALAFCO to transfer existing orders for the six Dreamliners from ALAFCO to Oman Air.
Cargolux has signed a 15-year OnPoint solution agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its GEnx-2B engines that power its Boeing 747-8 freighters. The agreement will cover 52 GEnx-2B engines that power its 13 Boeing 747-8 Freighter, and it is valued at more than $1bn over the life of the agreement.

AgustaWestland and Bristow Group have signed a contract for six AW189 helicopters plus options for additional aircraft. The aircraft will be used to perform offshore transport missions.
