Cargolux Airlines has selected Pratt & Whitney’s Engine Management Program, providing on-wing engine health monitoring. Under the agreement, Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners will use its web-based Advanced Diagnostics & Engine Management (ADEM) tools to provide engine performance monitoring services for the airline’s fleet powered by PW4056 engines.

Air Tatarstan (based in Kazan/Tatarstan) and Lufthansa Technik Sofia have signed a ten-year contract providing Air Tatarstan with fleet base maintenance for their Airbus and Boeing 737 fleet. The fleet base maintenance agreement includes light C-Checks and heavy D-Check events. The newly signed contract is the first agreement between Air Tatarstan and Lufthansa Technik Sofia.

Boeing and UTair Aviation, Russia have signed an order for 40 Boeing Next-Generation 737 airplanes, comprised of seven 737-900ERs and 33 737-800s. The agreement was previously announced at the 2011 Paris Air Show. The order is valued at $3.8 billion at list prices.
