Norwegian`s load factor down 2.0 points in July

In July 2012, International Airlines Group (IAG) traffic rose by 5.1% versus July 2011, while Group capacity was up 5.1%. The laod factor for July 2012 was the same as in June 2011, 85.7%.
For the month of July, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 85.9%, versus 86.4% in July 2011, a decrease of 0.5 points. System traffic decreased 1.1% on a system-wide capacity decrease of 0.5%.
WestJet announced July 2012 traffic results with a load factor of 85.3%, traffic increased 6.6% year over year and capacity grew 2% over the same period.
Porter Airlines reported that July 2012 traffic increased 18.3% compared to July 2011, while capacity increased 12.9% year over year. The load factor for the month increased 3.3 points to 70.1% compared to July 2011.
Finnair traffic rose by 5.7% as the overall capacity grew 2.7% year‐on‐year. Passenger load factor improved by 2.4 points and was 84.5%.
Delta Air Lines reported operating performance for July 2012. Traffic for July increased 2.8% compared to the same period in 2011, while capacity increased 3.1% year over year. The load factor increased 0.2 points to 87.8%.
SAS Group reported that traffic in June 2012 increased by 5.8% compared to the same period in 2011, while capacity increased by 6.3%. The passenger load factor decreased by 0.4 points to 80.2%.
For the month of June 2012, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 85.6%, versus 84.2% in June 2011, an increase of 1.4 points. System traffic increased 1.5% on a system-wide capacity decrease of 0.1%.
Nowegian Air Shuttle reported June 2012 traffic increase of 15% compared to June 2011, while capacity for the month increased 21%. The load factor was down 4.0 points to 77%.
