Air France KLM released that traffic for the month of June was up by 2.9% compared to the previous year, while capacity was up by 5.0%. The load factor for the month fell slightly by 1.7 points to 82.1%.
Copa Holdings released preliminary passenger traffic statistics for June 2011: for the month of June 2011, Copa Holdings’ system-wide passenger traffic increased 28.3%, while capacity (ASM) increased 21.7%. System load factor for June 2011 was 77.0%, a 4.0 percentage point increase when compared to June 2010.
American Eagle reported a June traffic increase of 18.6% year over year as capacity increased 16.7%. June load factor was 78.3%, an increase of 1.2 points compared to the same period last year.
Delta Air Lines reported traffic results for June 2011. System traffic in June 2011 decreased 1.5% compared to June 2010 on a 0.2% increase in capacity. System load factor of 86.3% was 1.4 points lower than the prior year.
Republic Airways Holdings reported preliminary passenger traffic results for June 2011. The Company reported a 3% traffic decrease from the same month last year, while capacity remained unchanged. The load factor decreased 2 pts to 84%.
Frontier Airlines reported preliminary traffic results for June 2011. Frontier’s traffic decreased 1% while capacity was also down 1%. June’s load factor was 90% and remained unchanged compared to the same month last year.
US Airways Group reported that June traffic was up 2.5% versus June 2010, capacity was up 2.3% and the load factor was an all-time record 87.1%, up 0.2 pts versus June 2010.
IAG Group traffic measured rose by 9.2% versus June 2010 while capacity was up 6.8%. The load factor for the month was up 1.8 pts to 81.7%.
