WestJet reports June load factor of 82.9%

JetBlue Airways reported its preliminary traffic results for June 2017. Traffic in June increased 3.2% from June 2016, on a capacity increase of 4.0%. Load factor for June 2017 was 85.5%, a decrease of 0.7 points from June 2016.
United Airlines’ June 2017 consolidated traffic increased 3.4% and consolidated capacity increased 5.0% versus June 2016. UAL’s June 2017 consolidated load factor decreased 1.4 points to 85.7%, compared to June 2016.
American Airlines Group’s total traffic was up 0.8% versus June 2016, while total capacity was up 1.1% percent versus June 2016. Total passenger load factor was 84.7%, down 0.2 points versus the previous year.
With a record 6.76 million passengers for the month of June (up 2.3% against June 2016), passenger numbers for a 12-month period broke the 77 million mark for the first time in Heathrow Airport’s history. Finnair’s overall capacity in June increased by 9.9% year‐on‐year, and traffic grew by 13.4% compared to the previous year. The number of passengers carried during the month was 1,10 million, which is the highest number ever (1.03 million in June 2016 and 1,08 million in July 2016).
