Finnair’s overall capacity in May increased by 1.2% year‐on‐year, and traffic grew by 12.8%. The passenger load factor for May rose by 8.4 points to stand at 81.3%.

The Lufthansa Group reported April traffic increase of 25.2% compared to April 2016, while capacity increased 15.8%. The load factor for the month was up 6.2 points to 82.3% compared to the previous year.

SAS reported that traffic for April 2017 increased 15.8% and capacity was up 6.6% compared to the previous year. The load factor increased by 6.1 points to 75.7%.

UAL’s April 2017 consolidated traffic increased 7.4% and consolidated capacity increased 4.0% versus April 2016. UAL’s April 2017 consolidated load factor increased 2.6 points to 83.1% compared to April 2016.

American Airlines Group traffic for April 2017 was up 3.1% versus April 2016 and total capacity was up 0.8% versus April 2016. Total passenger load factor was 82.2%, up 1.8 points versus April 2016.

Alaska Air Group has reported April and year-to-date operational results on a consolidated basis, for its mainline operations operated by subsidiaries Alaska Airlines and Virgin America, and for its regional flying operated by subsidiary Horizon Air and third-party regional carriers SkyWest Airlines and Peninsula Airlines (Regional). Finnair reported that traffic for April grew by 21.3% compared to April 2016 and capacity increased 9.9% year over year. The load factor rose 7.8 points to 82.9% compared to the previous year.

Allegiant Travel reported preliminary passenger traffic results for April 2017. Traffic for the month was up 16.7% compared to the same period in 2016, while capacity was up 19%. The load factor for April was slightly down, 1.7 points, to 80.9%, compared to April 2016.
