JetBlue Airways reported its preliminary traffic results for September 2016. Traffic in September increased 10.8% from September 2015, on a capacity increase of 7.9%. Load factor for September 2016 was 83.2% percent, an increase of 2.1 points from September 2015.
In September, Finnair’s overall capacity measured in Available Seat Kilometres grew by 8.5% and traffic grew by 7.2% year- on‐year. The passenger load factor declined by 0.9 points year-on-year to 80.7%.
SAS’ traffic for September was up 7.6% compared to the same period in 2015, while capacity was up 7%. The load factor for the month was 77.6%, up 0.5 points when compared to September 2015.
Ryanair released that traffic for the month of September grew 13% compared to the same period in 2015, and the load factor for September rose 1.0 point to 95% compared to the previous year.
Delta’s consolidated traffic for the month of September increased 1.4% compared to September 2015, while consolidated capacity increased 1.8%. Consolidated load factor for September 2016 was down 0.4 points to 84.6%.

WestJet announced August 2016 traffic results with a load factor of 86.5% an increase of 1.9 points year over year. Traffic increased 11.3% year over year and capacity grew 8.8% over the same period.
International Airlines Group traffic in August increased by 7.9% versus August 2015, while Group capacity rose by 9.0%. Group load factor for the month was down 1.0 point to 85.9%.
