In June, Finnair’s overall capacity grew by 10.5% and traffic grew by 9.7% year‐on‐year. Passenger load factor was close to last year’s level at 84.1% (84.7% in June 2015).
Norwegian reported that total June traffic increased 17% when compared to June 2015, while total capacity improved 15%. The load factor for June was up 2.2 points to 90.2% compared to the previous year.
SAS posted traffic results for June 2016 with an increase in scheduled traffic of 7.9% compared to the previous year and an increase in capacity of 6%. SAS reported that June scheduled load factor was up 1.5 points to 81.5%.
International Airlines Group (IAG) reported that traffic in June increased by 13.6% versus June 2015 and Group capacity rose by 13.2%. The load factor for the month of June was up 0.3 points to 84%, when compared to the previous year.
