Alaska Air Group reports December 2015 traffic results

Alaska reported a 9.8% increase in traffic on a 12.1% increase in capacity compared to December 2014. Load factor decreased 1.8 points to 83.6% compared to the previous year. Horizon reported a 0.5% decrease in traffic on a 0.9% increase in capacity compared to December 2014. Load factor decreased 1.1 points to 79.7%.

Republic Airways reported preliminary passenger traffic results for November 2015. Republic Airways’ traffic was down 4%, while capacity decreased 9% compared to the same period last year. The load factor increased 4 points compared to the same period last year, to 79%.

Virgin America posts November traffic of 80%

Virgin America reported its preliminary operational results for November 2015. The airline’s traffic increased 12.3% on capacity that was 10.2% higher from the same month in 2014. Load factor was 80.2%, an increase of 1.5 points from November 2014.

SAS traffic figures for November 2015

SAS increased its scheduled capacity in November by 9.8% while traffic responded well and increased by 9.6%, primarily driven by growth on intercontinental routes. The overall load factor declined marginally by 0.2 points to 69.3% mainly due to lower load factors on certain European routes.

Air Canada reports November load factor

For the month of November, Air Canada reported a system-wide capacity increase of 9.5% and a load factor of 78.6%, increasing from 77.7% in November 2014. On this additional capacity, system wide traffic for November increased 10.8%.
