WestJet announced April 2015 traffic results with a load factor of 80.2%. Traffic increased 3.1% year-over-year, and capacity grew 5.8% over the same period.

Delta Air Lines reported that total traffic for the month of April increased 1.8%, while capacity for the month increased 3.7%. The load factor was down 1.5 points to 83.2%.

Alaska reported a 9.9% increase in traffic on a 13.7% increase in capacity compared to April 2014. Load factor decreased 2.9 points to 83.9%. Horizon reported an 8.8% increase in traffic on an 8.8% increase in capacity compared to April 2014. This resulted in a 0.1 point increase in load factor to an April record

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) welcomed more than 4.6 million passengers in March 2015, representing an increase of 2.5% year-on-year and a new March monthly record. In March, Finnair’s overall capacity grew by 3.8% and traffic grew by 3.5% year‐on‐year. Passenger load factor was 78.9% down 0.2 points compared to March 2014.

SAS reported that March traffic increased by 1.8%, while total capacity for the month was reduced by 2.2% compared to the same period in 2014. The load factor increased by 3.0 points to 74.3%.

Republic Airways reported preliminary passenger traffic results for March 2015. Traffic for the month decreased 1% compared to March 2014, on a 1% decrease in capacity. The load factor was down 1.0 point to 79% when compared to the previous year.

Virgin America reported its preliminary operational results for March 2015. The airline’s traffic increased 4.9% on capacity that was 4.7% higher than the same month in 2014. Load factor was 84.2%, up 0.2 points from March 2014.

For the month of March, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 83.1%, versus 81.7% in March 2014 , on a system-wide capacity increase of 11.1%. On this additional capacity, system wide traffic for March increased 12.9% for the month. 

Volaris, the ultra-low-cost airline serving Mexico and the United States, reported its preliminary traffic results for March 2015. During the month of March 2015 capacity increased by 15.2% year over year, while total traffic increased 16.4% year over year. Network load factor for the month of March reached 81.2%, an increase of 0.8.
