WestJet reports April load factor of 80.2%

Delta Air Lines reported that total traffic for the month of April increased 1.8%, while capacity for the month increased 3.7%. The load factor was down 1.5 points to 83.2%.

Virgin America reported its preliminary operational results for March 2015. The airline’s traffic increased 4.9% on capacity that was 4.7% higher than the same month in 2014. Load factor was 84.2%, up 0.2 points from March 2014.
For the month of March, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 83.1%, versus 81.7% in March 2014 , on a system-wide capacity increase of 11.1%. On this additional capacity, system wide traffic for March increased 12.9% for the month.
