UAL’s September 2014 consolidated traffic decreased 0.2% and consolidated capacity decreased 0.4% versus September 2013. UAL’s September 2014 consolidated load factor increased 0.2 points to 82.9% compared to September 2013.
Republic Airways reported September traffic increase of 11% over the same period in 2013, on an 8% increase capacity. The load factor increased 2.0 points from the same period in 2013 to 76.3%.
In September, Finnair’s overall capacity was flat and traffic decreased by 1.2% year‐on‐year. Passenger load factor was 80.2%, 0.9 points lower than in October 2013.
Hawaiian Airlines announced its system-wide traffic statistics for the month of September. Traffic for the month of September increased 3.0%, while capacity increased 0.3% year over year. The load factor for September was up 2.2 points to 82.5%.
Ryanair reported September traffic increased 5% compared to the previous year, while the load factor for the month increased 5.0 points to 90%.
WestJet reported September 2014 traffic results with a load factor of 75.9%. Traffic increased 6.0% year over year, and capacity grew 6.8% over the same period.
For the month of September, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 84.7%, versus 83.2% in September 2013, representing an increase of 1.5 points on a system-wide capacity increase of 7.3%. On this additional capacity, system wide traffic for September increased 9.2%.
Delta Air Lines reported financial and operating performance for September 2014. Traffic in September increased 5.4% compared to the same period in 2013, while capacity increased 4.9%. The load factor for September increased slightly by 0.4 points to 83.7%.
Alaska reported an 8.3% increase in traffic on a 9.2% increase in capacity compared to September 2013. This resulted in a 0.7 point decrease in load factor to 82.1%. Horizon reported a 5.1% increase in September traffic on a 6.8% increase in capacity compared to September 2013. This resulted in a 1.3 point decrease in
American Airlines Group’s traffic for the month was flat versus August 2013. Total capacity was up 1.1% versus August 2013. Total passenger load factor was 84.6% for the month of August, down 0.9 points versus August 2013.
