Republic Airways reports March 2013 traffic
Republic Airways reported that traffic in March 2013 decreased 7% from March 2012, on a 10% reduction in capacity. Consolidated load factor increased to 3.0 points to 83% in March 2012.

In March 2013, IAG traffic increased by 0.1% versus March 2012, while Group capacity was down 1.1%. Group load factor for the month was up 0.9 points to 79.7% when compared to the previous year.
Republic Airways’ traffic decreased 12% from March 2012, on a 14% reduction in capacity. Consolidated load factor increased to 83% from 80% in March 2012.
For the month of March, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 83.5%, versus 81.5% in March 2012, an increase of 2.0 points. System traffic increased 3.4% on a system-wide capacity increase of 1.0%.
WestJet announced March 2013 traffic results with a load factor of 86.1%. Traffic increased 8.2% year over year, and capacity was 8.4% higher over the same period.
Alaska reported a 10.1% increase in traffic, on a 10.9% increase in capacity compared to March 2012. This resulted in a 0.6-point decrease in load factor to 88.3%. Horizon reported a 6.2% increase in March traffic on a 2.9% increase in capacity compared to March 2012. This resulted in a 2.5-point increase in load factor
US Airways Group announced March and year-to-date 2013 traffic results. Mainline traffic for the month was up 5.1% versus March 2012, while mainline capacity was up 3.2%. Mainline passenger load factor was a record 86.1% for the month of March, up 1.5 points versus March 2012.
Porter Airlines reported a load factor of 58.1% in March 2013, representing a decline of 1.7 points compared to 2012. Traffic for the month declined 2.1%, while capacity was up 0.7% compared to the previous year.
Delta released that traffic for the month of March was slightly down by 0.1%, while capacity was down 0.6% compared to the same month in 2012. The load factor for the month was up 0.6 points to 84.7%.
