WestJet's traffic increased 8.2% in March

Alaska reported a 10.1% increase in traffic, on a 10.9% increase in capacity compared to March 2012. This resulted in a 0.6-point decrease in load factor to 88.3%. Horizon reported a 6.2% increase in March traffic on a 2.9% increase in capacity compared to March 2012. This resulted in a 2.5-point increase in load factor
US Airways Group announced March and year-to-date 2013 traffic results. Mainline traffic for the month was up 5.1% versus March 2012, while mainline capacity was up 3.2%. Mainline passenger load factor was a record 86.1% for the month of March, up 1.5 points versus March 2012.
Porter Airlines reported a load factor of 58.1% in March 2013, representing a decline of 1.7 points compared to 2012. Traffic for the month declined 2.1%, while capacity was up 0.7% compared to the previous year.
Delta released that traffic for the month of March was slightly down by 0.1%, while capacity was down 0.6% compared to the same month in 2012. The load factor for the month was up 0.6 points to 84.7%.

Vueling Airlines has increased traffic by 8.3% in February year on year, while capacity increased 8.5%. The load factor for the month was 77.7%, down 0.1 point compared to the previous year.
In February 2013 IAG traffic decreased by 2.4% versus February 2012, while capacity was down 4.4% compared to the previous year. The load factor for the month improved 1.6 points to 75.2%.
The SAS Group traffic increased 1.1% in February 2013, while Group’s capacity was up by 1.7% compared to the same month in 2012. The SAS Group’s load factor decreased by 0.4 points to 66.4%.
In February, Finnair traffic rose by 2.6% and the overall capacity decreased 3.5% year‐on‐year. Passenger load factor improved by 4.7 points to 80.6%.
