In 2014, Cargojet is phasing out the operation of its older generation B727-200F freighter aircraft on the domestic overnight network and replacing them with newer generation B757-200 Extended Range Freighter aircraft. Cathay Pacific Airways ordered three GE90-115B-powered 777-300ERs and one GEnx-2B-powered 747-8 Freighter. Cathay Pacific also signed a 15-year OnPoint solution agreement to cover the maintenance, repair and overhaul of these engines. This order follows the decision from Cathay Pacific to become Asia-Pacific’s first 777X customer with orders for 21 GE9X-powered Boeing 777-9X aircraft.

Bombardier Aerospace has received a firm order for 10 Challenger business jets from an undisclosed customer. The order includes five Challenger 300 jets and five Challenger 605 jets. Zhejiang Loong Airlines, based in Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang province in Eastern China, has signed its first purchase agreement with Airbus, for 20 A320 Family aircraft, including 11 A320ceo and nine A320neo, becoming the lastest Airbus customer.
