China Cargo Airlines takes delivery of new Boeing 777F from GECAS

GECAS reported the delivery of a new Boeing 777F freighter aircraft to China Cargo Airlines. The aircraft comes from GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing. GECAS leased another new Boeing 777F to China Cargo Airlines in late 2010. China Cargo Airlines, majority owned by China Eastern Airlines, currently operates a fleet of 18 freighters.

GECAS takes delivery of 400th Boeing airplane

Boeing reached a major milestone with GECAS by delivering the leasing company’s 400th airplane, a Next-Generation 737-800. Skyworld Aviation closes another Airbus A320 deal

Skyworld Aviation reported that, acting on behalf of Airfinancial Management Ltd of Cyprus, it has arranged the acquisition of another Airbus A320 aircraft. A320-200 serial number 361 was purchased by Airfinancial from Aercap Ireland for onward lease to Khors Aircompany of the Ukraine. The aircraft was built in 1992 and is powered by V2500-A1 engines.
