Continental Airlines launch daily nonstop flights between Newark Liberty International Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

British Airways reported that in September 2006 capacity was 2.5% cent above September 2005, traffic was higher by 1.5%, this resulted in a passenger load factor down 0.8 points versus last year, to 78.8%.
