JetBlue founder and Chairman David Neeleman has announced plans to start up his fourth airline, a domestic carrier in Brazil, pending local Government approvals. JetBlue Airways announces the appointment of Joseph Eng to the position of Executive Vice President, Systems and Technology. In this newly created role, Mr. Eng will be responsible for the New York-based low fare, high value airline’s information systems and technology strategy.

JetBlue Airways reported that Christoph Franz, CEO of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd, has been appointed to its Board of Directors effective immediately. Dr. Franz represents the Deutsche Lufthansa Group, whose $300 million investment in JetBlue was recently completed. Christoph Franz is Swiss International Air Line’s Chief Executive Officer and has served in that capacity
