AlMasria Universal Airlines, the Egyptian based airline which commenced operations in 2009, has awarded A J Walter Aviation a multi-million dollar contract to provide component power-by-the-hour support initially for its existing fleet of two A320 and one A321 aircraft. A main base kit will also be located in Cairo to further support daily operational needs.

EVA Airways has also signed a 12-year OnPoint solution services agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its GE90-115B engines that will power its new seven Boeing 777-300ER aircraft ordered in May. The contract is valued at about $300m over its life of agreement.
