Direct Maintenance commences B777 line maintenance for Malaysia Airlines

Direct Maintenance has commenced supporting the daily B777-200 operation of Malaysia Airlines at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport as from February 21st. Asiana Airlines sends CF6-80 engines to MTU Hannover for overhaul

South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines has selected MTU Maintenance Hannover to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for its CF6-80C2 engines. The five-year maintenance agreement covers the CF6-80C2 engines powering Asiana’s Boeing 767 and 747 fleets. Asiana currently operates a mixed fleet of 72 Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

SIA Engineering secures VietJet Air contract

SIA Engineering (SIAEC) announced the signing of an Inventory Technical Management (ITM) Services Agreement with VietJet Air, a low-cost airline based in Hanoi.
