Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed a line maintenance technical handling agreement with Strategic Airlines. With immediate effect MAEL’s experienced engineering team will provide full maintenance support for the Luxembourg based airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft operating out of Manchester airport.

Cmmercial aviation maintenance company Jet Midwest Technik, expands capabilities and is now certified to perform heavy maintenance on all McDonell-Douglas MD series and all Boeing 737 series including New Generation 737NG aircraft. Jet Midwest intends to continue to expand its capabilities to include other aircraft types including wide-body aircraft.

Precision Conversions has commenced modification of a second 757-200PCF for Aviation Capital Group (ACG). The 1991 Rolls-Royce powered B757-200 (MSN 25258) was inducted for conversion at Flightstar Aircraft Services facility in Jacksonville, Florida and will be re-delivered in the beginning of October. US Airways and MTU have extended the term of the V2500-A1 Engine Maintenance Agreement which was originally executed in 2008. The existing fly-by-hour agreement has been extended until the end of 2016. MTU’s relationship of providing V2500 maintenance services for US Airways began with America West Airlines in 1993.

Cmponent support specialist, A J Walter Aviation has substantially extended and improved its mechanical and avionics component repair and supply agreement with Honeywell International.  Already a major customer of Honeywell, AJW believes this strategic alliance will continue to provide its customers with the fastest, most cost effective and quality solutions available on these products in
