GE Aviation launched its OnPoint solutions covering the systems content and capabilities with the signing of a comprehensive agreement with Singapore Airlines for the Boeing 777 aircraft fleet. TAM’s Technological Center has been certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), to perform maintenance on Airbus A321 and A330 aircraft. With this, TAM is expanding the services offered by the Technological Center and will have EASA 145 certification for all models of airplane handled in its maintenance center, including A319/A320/A321/A330 and Fokker-100 aircraft.

SAS Technical Services announced the ammendment of the CRJ900 into its approval list. The CRJ900, which will commence revenue traffic with SAS Denmark on 17th of December will be maintained by STS in Copenhagen. The ammendment is granted prior to the delivery of the first CRJ900 aircraft on December 2nd, 2008.

MESA AIR GROUP has finalized an agreement with Fokker Services, a part of the Stork Aerospace division for the sale, management, and repair of its DHC8-200 spare parts inventories. Ethiopian Airlines and Volvo Aero Services have signed a 5 year Preferred Supplier Agreement where Volvo Aero Services will position in excess of $20 million dollars of engine material at Ethiopian Airlines in support of their MRO activity. In return, Ethiopian Airlines will provide MRO support to Volvo Aero Services on select engines and material.

AAR has received an order to provide Containerized Roll-in/Out Platforms (CROP) for the U.S. Army, valued at $40 million. The platforms will be manufactured by AAR’s SUMMA Technology facility in Cullman, Alabama through 2010.
