In conjunction with UAM’s expansion efforts, two new Account Managers join the UAM Sales Team.  Chris Stotts and Shanda Flynn join the team and bring past aviation sales experience to UAM’s scope of inventory management and sales support to global customers.

Jet Aviation released that Peter G. Edwards, president of the Jet Aviation group, will leave the company this summer. Edwards will maintain a full schedule through July 4 and will then support a transition to new leadership, with a planned final departure of August 31, 2011. UAM names Dana Soper as General Manager for UAM’s new Tupelo facilities.  Soper will oversee operations at UAM’s disassembly and warehouse facilities, totaling over 450,000 square feet and 39 acres of facility space.

Spirit Airlines has appointed Tony Lefebvre as its Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Lefebvre had previously served in the position of Senior Vice President — Airports, Customer Service and Inflight. Lefebvre replaces Kenneth McKenzie, who has accepted a position at Airbus North America.

Guggenheim Partners released that Bryan Moss, former President of Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, has joined the firm as Chairman of its Business Aircraft Investments activities. Moss will assist in expanding the firm’s dedicated business aircraft investment activity as it seeks global investment opportunities.

Ian Malin will join A J Walter Aviation on 1st July after eleven years in investment banking, having financed several billion dollars worth of aircraft, rolling stock, infrastructure, power and aircraft component assets.  He will be responsible for managing AJW’s funding relationships as well as for financial planning, analysis and corporate development going forward.
