Lufthansa Technik to supply cockpit systems for Airbus freighter

Lufthansa Technik will continue to provide engineering services for cockpit systems to be installed in FedEx cargo aircraft conversions during the next three years. The American company has the world’s biggest fleet of cargo aircraft and the work will be undertaken by EADS Elbe Flugzeugwerke of Dresden. After delivery of its 100th Airbus, an agreement was signed for the standardization, technical upgrades and certification, of uniform modern cockpit systems for additional Airbus A300 and A310 cargo aircraft, in conjunction with Lufthansa Technik engineers.
