Lufthansa lifts nine-month operating result to 471 million euros

In the first nine months of the year, the Lufthansa Group generated revenue of 13.3 billion euros, which is 4.3 per cent more than at the same stage in 2004. The operating result increased by 220 million to 471 million euros. Profit after tax rose to 416 million euros, which is a year-on-year improvement of 252 million euros. The cash flow generated from operating activities remained at the high level of 1.3 billion euros.
