Euopean Airlines reported 8.6% traffic increase

The Association of European Airlines reported a traffic growth of 8.6% in November 2005 while capacity increased by 4.8%; resulting in a load factor of 73.7%. Continued high growth of 13.6% was reported for the Far Eastern market, an above-average increase of 9.5% in cross-border Europe, and 4.1% for the North Atlantic market.

Icelandair traffic increased

Icelandair carried 94.322 passengers in November, an increase of 15,3% from November 2004. The capacity (ASK) in November increased by 3,2% compared to the same month last year and sales (RPK) increased by 14,7%, resulting in passenger load factor of 74,6%, up by 7,4 percentage points from last year.
