Lufthansa to hire 2,400 new employees in 2006

Lufthansa will recruit 2,400 new employees in 2006. Most of the growth will occur in operational areas, with the company requiring 1,420 flight attendants and 220 ground staff to provide passenger handling services at its Frankfurt and Munich hubs.
