Air Astana becomes latest customer for Trent 1000

Air Astana, the national airline of Kazakhstan, has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines for its initial three Boeing 787-8s, plus a further three of the twinjets for which it has purchase rights. The value of the firm business is $90 million at engine list prices. Delive-ries begin in 2016.
