Virgin America names new Senior Vice President Technical Operations

Virgin America appointed Tom Anderson as the next generation airline’s Senior Vice President of Technical Operations. An industry veteran with more than two decades of experience, Anderson will oversee the start-up carrier’s technical operations as it grows from a start-up to a major national carrier. Anderson joins Virgin America from SkyWorks Capital, where he led that company’s joint venture, SkyWorks Capital Asia Ltd., as well as SkyWorks’ activities in other regions as Senior Vice President.
