Woodward reports first quarter fiscal 2008 results

Woodward Governor Company reported financial results for its first quarter of fiscal 2008. Net sales for the quarter were $272.1 million, up 20% from $226.2 million for the first quarter of the prior year. Net earnings for the quarter were $25.3 million compared with $17.9 million in the previous year’s first quarter.
