Delta Air Lines reports fourth quarter 2007 net loss

Delta reported a pre-tax loss for the quarter of $105 million, an $80 million improvement compared to the prior year period excluding reorganization items. Delta’s net income for the year was $1.6 billion, or $418 million excluding reorganization related items. Delta reported a net loss of $70 million for the fourth quarter.

Iberia wins new contracts to maintain another 20 engines

Iberia has signed new exclusive contracts with Italian carriers Eurofly and Meridiana to maintain their CFM-56-5B engines at the Iberia Maintenance facilities in Madrid.
