LAN Airlines S.A. reported its consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2007. LAN reported net income of (US)$100.8 million for the fourth quarter of 2007, a 7.7% increase compared to net income of $93.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2006. Net income for full year 2007 reached $308.3 million, compared to $241.3 million for full year 2006. Excluding extraordinary items recorded in 2006, net income for full year 2007 increased by 44.8%.
