AWAS purchase six Airbus A330-300 aircraft

AWAS has finalised a transaction to purchase six new A330-300 aircraft from Airbus. The first of these aircraft will be delivered in 2009 and all will be leased to Singapore Airlines. The transaction has been valued to Airbus at $1.2 billion at list prices.
