Bombardier Aerospace announced that the CRJ Series program has celebrated and exceeded its 1,500th delivery milestone. The 1,500th aircraft, a CRJ900 NextGen model, was handed over to Northwest Airlines in March, 2008, and will be operated by Mesaba Airlines, a Northwest Airlink carrier.
