Hamilton Sundstrand signed an On-Site Support agreement with Japan Airlines International (JALI) covering electric power system and pneumatic system products on the airline's fleet of 132 large commercial aircraft including Boeing 747-400s, 767s and 777s. The 10-year program will begin in August. Work will be performed at Japan Airlines International's Narita, Japan, maintenance facility.
Hamilton Sundstrand will supply parts to support JALI's maintenance of electric power system components including generators and integrated drive generators, and pneumatic system components including valves, starters and air cycle machines.
In addition, Hamilton Sundstrand will assign a dedicated on-site advisor to provide technical advice and recommendations about product operation, maintenance work scope and repair to JALI engineering and maintenance personnel.
