Alaska Air Group reports second quarter

Alaska Air Group reported second quarter net income of $63.1 million compared to net income of $46.1 million in the second quarter of 2007. Excluding special items, the company reported a net loss of $14.1 million compared to 2007 net income of $47.2 million.
