Singapore Technologies Aerospace reported the redelivery of the 38th MD-11 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) to UPS Airlines after completion of its passenger-to-freighter (PTF) conversion at its Singapore-based facility, ST Aviation Services Company (SASCO). This also marks the successful completion of the MD-11 PTF conversion programme for UPS Airlines.
SASCO began the PTF conversion programme for UPS Airlines in April 2001. To date, SASCO has redelivered a total of 58 MD-11BCF aircraft to various airlines for The Boeing Company, completing an average of one aircraft every one and a half months.
