Iberia and Gestair reported the creation of CorJet Europe, a 50:50 joint venture specialising in the maintenance of corporate aircraft, including line and scheduled maintenance, and also unscheduled AOG (aircraft on ground) tasks. It will also provide logistical support and spare parts for executive aircraft.
CorJet Maintenance Europe has the FAA Repair Station and EASA 145 Certificates. CorJet Maintenance Europe is, amongs others, a Rockwell Collins Authorised Operator, a Dassault/Falcon airplanes Service Centre, a Honeywell and Pratt&Whitney Engines Service Operator and a Pecal/AQAP 2120 Maintenance Centre.
Thanks to an agreement with the U.S. aircraft maker Gulfstream, CorJet Maintenance Europe in Madrid will become the official maintenance operator for all its models, supporting its aircraft stationed in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, plus AOG services. Likewise, CorJet will supply logistics service and spare parts to other maintenance companies. CorJet expects to be providing maintenance services to some 350 aircraft annually within five years of launch.
