Embraer signed a Parts Pool Program service contract extension with Amman-based Royal Jordanian Airlines. This customized materials solution is especially designed to optimize inventory management and reduce customer overhead cost for replacement parts and warehousing facilities, thus guaranteeing the maximum operational reliability of the airplanes.
The existing contract covers all five EMBRAER 195 and, now, two EMBRAER 175 jets operated by Royal Jordanian Airlines. The Parts Pool Program provides the airline with quick spare parts replacement and a greatly reduced need for warehousing facilities and inventory management expenses, thus increasing the ability to budget expenses.
