Kidde Aerospace & Defense to supply Gulfstream G650 fire detection system

Gulfstream has selected Hamilton Sundstrand’s Kidde Aerospace & Defense unit to provide the engine fire detection system for Gulfstream’s new G650 business jet. The engine and nacelle-mounted fire detectors and control unit are designed and manufactured by Kidde Graviner in Colnbrook, England. Kidde Graviner currently supplies Gulfstream the engine fire detection system for its G350, G450, G500 and G550 aircraft.
